St Loy'Cove looking towards Boscawen Point. It was close to this spot that saw the loss of MV Union Star and the Penlee Lifeboat Solomon Browne on the night of 19th December 1981. There were no survivors, including all eight extremely brave crew members of the Solomon Browne.
